The tulip trade

"Anna loved tulips. She loved their round shape and bright colors and slim green leaves."
 Anna's father give eight tulips for her birthday and she planted them in a window box. In those days, tulips more worthwhile than gold and diamonds.
Seven person who saw the tulips asked her to trade it for something which they had then. Although she didn't want to give them, she did because each person give her good things which help her family's life as a reward.
Finally, there were only one tulip at her hand. Then, the mayor asked her to trade it for a diamond bracelet and gold coins.

Did she give him the last tulip?
