Hi! I am going to talk about a book HENRY AND MUDGE in Puddle Trouble, a level 2 in READY TO READ series and introduce one incident from this story.
In May, Henry and Mudge, a dog found a box in which there five kittens .Their mother cat seemed to rest at the other place so they were getting some sun. Mudge sniffed them many times like their mother cat. While Henry was at school, a new dog came his street and approached the five sleeping kittens. Mudge found the new dog looking in the box and ran out the door to protect them. The dog almost injured them.
Did Mudge protect them instead their mother cat?
