Anne Green of Gables

'Anne is an orphan. She is eleven years old, thin, with red hair, and she never stop talking.'

   
     Ａ man, Matthew and his sister have been farming but it is hard for just two people to keep the farm. Then, they decides to welcome two boys who are orphans to get help their work. However, a girl called Anne whose hair is red comes instead of boys, so his sister, Marilla tries to turn her away. In contrast, he persuades her to take care of the girl because she is a good girl. Then, she has lived in their house and she is precious to them. She has some difficulties such as being made fun of her red hair and a death of Matthew but he also grows mentally through meeting a lot of people.
     I had heard the title but never read this story. It was a good story. In addition, my favorite character is Anne, because she is always honest to others and her mind.
