The Piano

"He walked on to the stage and sat down at the big piano. The dark wood shone like glass. He could see his face in it. He turned round and looked at the sea of faces. He could not see the Wood family. He could not see Mr Gordon. But suddenly Anthony felt their love and their kindness. "

A news reporter Sally Hill talks to a famous pianist Anthony Evans before his eightieth birthday concert. He starts to talk about his background. When he is in an elementary school, he does not like to study except Mrs. Lark's music class. Latter, he moves to Mr. Wood's farm where his mother has worked before and he enjoys farm work there. One summer day, he finds an old piano when he and the another boy clean an old wooden building. From the day, he gets interested in the piano and practices hard. It changes his life.
This story made me feel warm inside. I learned that a little event and our surroundings can change our life.
