Grace Darling

 

"'Father! Father! Come quick!' She ran out of the room, down the stairs to her parents' bed room. 'Come quick! There's a ship on Harker's Rock! A big one - a passenger ship! It's broken in two!'"

     Forfarshire is heading for Dundee, in Scotland. It is a stormy day. A man called Daniel notices the engines of the ship cannot continue to go over the ocean because he is an engineer. Then, he askes Captain Humble to go back to land but Captain Humble does not listen to him and gets angry. A few hours later, the ship crashes on to rocks. Grace and her father who live in a lighthouse see the passengers need help on rocks. Can the passengers survive?

     Grace and her father's braveness moved me because they try to help the passenger without any fear in the difficult condition.
